TERMS & CONDITIONS
Promises Made, Legacies Protected
These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for using Legacy Promises’ estate planning services. By proceeding with the use of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
The estate planning services provided through Legacy Promises involve coordination with licensed attorneys who will assist with document preparation. These attorneys utilize our estate planning platform to complete your estate planning needs. Complex Cases: If your estate planning situation is too complex for the online platform, we will notify you, and an attorney will contact you to discuss how to proceed. No Obligation: You are not required to complete your estate planning through Legacy Promises or its associated attorneys.
Legacy Promises Network operates as a network and is not a law firm. We collaborate with independent, licensed attorneys for document preparation, without offering legal representation.
Our services include: - Assistance with document preparation, organization, and delivery. - Non-legal guidance for data entry, interviews, and navigating the platform. - Ongoing support for accessing your estate planning documents. We are committed to ensuring your experience is smooth but do not provide legal advice. We encourage you to seek independent legal counsel if needed.
You are responsible for: - The execution of your estate plan (i.e., signing documents and putting the plan into effect). - The funding of your trust, which means transferring ownership of assets into your trust. - Ensuring the accuracy of the information provided during the process.
The fees you pay to Legacy Promises may include: - Attorney services for document preparation. - Non-legal support and assistance. - Fees for document delivery and access to our platform.
Legacy Promises is not liable for any losses, damages, or legal claims arising from the use of our services or third-party attorney services. We cannot guarantee any specific legal, financial, or tax outcomes from your estate plan. Please consult with independent advisors for personalized advice.
All personal information you provide to us will be handled with confidentiality in accordance with our privacy policy. However, we cannot be held responsible for unauthorized access or breaches beyond our control.
The use of Legacy Promises does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Any attorney services are provided independently by licensed professionals who work with Legacy Promises. Clients should engage with attorneys directly for legal advice or representation.
Any attorney-client relationship is established directly between the client and the attorney, independent of Legacy Promises.
In the event of any disputes, we agree to resolve the matter through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of [State]. Claims will not proceed to court unless arbitration is unsuccessful.
Legacy Promises reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Significant changes will be communicated to users where applicable.
Please read the full Terms and Conditions before proceeding to the next step. “By continuing to use Legacy Promises’ services, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.”
